Employee Language Training and the Benefits it Provides

Boston, MA – Language Connections is one of the oldest Boston-based interpretation and translation services companies.  We recently brought our nearly 30-years of experience to help a new client, a technology company that provides release and update management software. Through our advanced English employee language training services, we helped supply very customized, targeted training for all participants and extensive diagnostic testing to help them understand their own strengths and weaknesses in English proficiency.

Benefits of Employee Language Training

This client is known for their unique and innovative development of the world’s first universal artifact management platform. Though they are located on the other side of the country, Language Connections continuously manages to provide them with the best language training for employees. For this particular client, we offered an advanced English language training course for four of their employees who each have a different native language. This course consisted of learning advanced grammar, writing, speaking, and reading skills.  Our client requested a full round, or 50 hours of training for their employees.  In 50-60 hours, participants can usually improve their English skills dramatically, moving up a level in proficiency. Providing these English classes for employees is highly valuable to both the students and company. It can allow for the employees to feel more secure in their positions and create an altogether more cohesive and communicative work environment.

Language Connections also provided another benefit to this client through our use of an extensive diagnostic test for the employees taking the course. This diagnostic exam was given to determine where each of the students’ levels of English proficiency were and in which areas they needed improvement. This testing procedure also allowed the teaching running the course to be able to help these employees in very personalized, targeted ways on their journey to better English skills.
