Language Connections recently provided telephone interpreting services for a longstanding client in the information technology industry. For this project, Language Connections provided an over-the-phone interpreter for a series of internal meetings between the American branch and the Japanese branch of an information technology company. Because these meetings involved participants from across the globe, L.C. recognized the importance of using a trusted communication platform. Therefore, L.C. turned to the Cisco Web-Ex platform to facilitate the meeting. This platform provided crystal-clear audio and an excellent wireless connection for all meeting participants, allowing our interpreters to easily interpret for members of both branches. Considering the fact that clear communication is essential to business success, this remote interpreting solution was instrumental to the success of the project.

 

Telephone Interpreting for Long-Term Projects

The project took place over five weeks and involved three separate meetings between the branches.
