Mandarin Interpreter for International Site Visits

One of our clients, based just outside of Boston, is an engineering consultant company focused on new product development in the Life Sciences and Consumer Health sectors. Recently they required our help contracting a Mandarin interpreter.
For this particular assignment, our client needed to visit several research laboratories in China developing a new chemistry technique. The project entailed observing the technique and conducting discussions with researchers and chemists onsite at laboratories in four major urban centers, including Beijing and Shanghai. As such, a full-time, Mandarin interpreter, with a background in technical interpretation, was needed to accompany representatives throughout their visit.
Technical Mandarin Chinese Interpreter Services
Our role throughout the duration of the site visit was to provide a consistent means of communication for our client. We selected a Mandarin interpreter with experience providing consecutive interpreting services, as well as a strong technical background in chemistry. This allowed her to be familiar with the topics discussed in the various meetings.
Our interpreter traveled to China, providing our client with customized Chinese language support during laboratory visits and conversation over the course of 10 days.
