User Guide Translation The Shade Store
May 2017, Boston MA – Language Connections, a Boston translation and interpreting services agency, works with many different types of businesses, small and large, helping to adapt our client’s products for international markets.

In a recent project we translated installation instructions for a local company that manufactures and sells window treatments.
Our client, The Shade Store, located in New York handcrafts special designer shades and window treatments for their customers which can be purchased online through their website. The products are available for purchase throughout North America, including Canada and Mexico.
The packaging includes the shades as well as detailed instructions for installation and normal maintenance (cleaning). In order to overcome language barriers with their customers to the north and south of the United States, they requested that we provide Spanish and French user guide translation services for their packaging instructions.

Language Connections coordinated a team of our linguists to provide the Spanish and French user guide translation to accompany the client’s products. Our translators adapted the inserts specifically for Mexican Spanish and French Canadian speakers to ensure accuracy.

Our role is to ensure that this is not an issue.
