Spanish Consecutive Interpreter for Business School

One recent project required our Spanish interpreting services for an event at a major business school in the Boston area. Specifically, we were asked to provide a Spanish consecutive interpreter to facilitate for Spanish speaking participants during an Executive Education Program last month.
The one-week program, known as the Argo Global Management and Strategic Execution Excellence Program, is designed to bring together multinational top executives. The primary goal of the program is to guide international business executives to formulate and implement strategies that will enhance their ability to compete globally.
Spanish Consecutive Interpreting Services
Our Spanish consecutive interpreter facilitated between participants and university faculty during course registration, coffee breaks and program checkout periods. This allowed the faculty to fulfill any special requests or questions, regardless of the English proficiency of participants.
As part of our linguistic services, the interpreter was also asked to perform Spanish translations of course evaluations and other written texts (such as information written on the board) since these had not been translated prior to the program. This type of “on the fly” translation when an interpreter is asked to translate written text, is generally referred to as sight translation. Our experienced linguists have a strong background in the specialized topics presented at events and conferences for Higher Education, and are therefore able to ensure that communication is not a barrier.
