Multiple Language Translation for Santander Bank ATM

Boston, MA October 2016 – Language Connections, a translation and interpreting services agency based in Boston, works with many international financial institutions. One of our clients, Santander Bank, is a financial institution based in Spain. During their acquisition of U.S. Sovereign Bank, Santander acquired numerous New England branches at which time they began to request our translation and interpreting services. Multiple Language Translation: 5 Romance & Asian Languages

For one recent project, Language Connections provided translations services of ATM screen prompts into the following five Romance and Asian languages, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, and Korean. The English texts from common ATM screen prompts were translated into the native languages of non-native English speaking customers to facilitate their customer ATM use. This required that our translators pay special attention to the different scripts to ensure that the translated prompts align correctly with the English language prompts. The prompts were translated successfully, allowing for easier access to ATM services for a wider group of people.
