Beyond Corporate Translation Services

For this project, Language Connections provided a service that went beyond straightforward business document translation. While we often translate company documents, in this case, we were proofing a project that had already been translated from English to Spanish. A separate source translated these company documents about tips for cyber security. However, since this source didn’t regularly provide business document translation services, Language Connections was contracted to proof their work.

One major challenge we encountered during this project was that we couldn’t use the original source document in English during our proofing project. This made the project slightly more demanding, requiring corporate translation services done by a true expert in both Spanish and the cyber security field. The translator we hired needed to be able to handle the standalone document as an editor, which required a deep knowledge of cyber security, a complicated topic.
