Latin American Spanish Interpreting at Stand for Children Summit
December 2016 – Boston, MA – Language Connections, a Boston interpretation and translation services agency, proudly provides interpretation services for a local non-profit organization, Stand for Children. In a recent event with the organization, our Latin American Spanish interpreting services were required for the client’s annual members summit meeting.
Stand for Children works with families, the community and other organizations, helping to raise public school standards for all children in the state of Massachusetts. By advocating for changed policies both at the state and local level, Stand forChildren strives to ensure that all children receive a fair chance at a good education, as well as the opportunity to attend college or a trade school and increase their ability to enter the job market with a set of skills.

Stand for Children often holds meetings to discuss how to better involve community members. One of these meetings is the annual members summit for which we recently provided simultaneous interpreting services. During the meeting, Language Connections was asked to interpret for native Latin Spanish speakers attending the meeting.
