Hebrew Interpreting for the Wexner Senior Leadership Program
March 28, 2016 – Language Connections, a Boston-based interpretation and translation services company, worked with a local ivy league university during a month-long executive program held jointly between the university and the Israeli government. As part of this program, the university hosts executives from various Israeli organizations and the public service sector. Top officials representing an array of Israeli ministries and government agencies typically attend the four-week initiative known as the Wexner Senior Leadership Program. We provided Hebrew interpreting services throughout the course of the program.
Funded by the Wexner Foundation, the Wexner Senior Leadership Program (WSLP) is aimed at strengthening executive leadership skills for top-level public service officials. The WSLP consists of three parts, an introductory seminar in Israel, four weeks at the partnering university, and a follow-up seminar in Israel. Participants have the opportunity to attend many workshops, presentations, and discussions.
Hebrew Interpreting Services
Language Connections was asked to interpret during the lectures that took place at the university on March 9th and 10th. PowerPoint presentations were given by several prominent Israeli leaders, including Itamar Grotto of the Israel Ministry of Health who spoke on addressing the rise of non-communicable diseases.
