In a recent project, we were asked to provide Chinese brochure translation services for academic recruitment materials directed towards Chinese speakers interested in Springfield College.
About Springfield College
Springfield College is a private college located in Springfield, MA, which offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in allied health, human services and physical education. Springfield College is historically known as the birthplace of the popular American team sport, basketball. Back in the winter of 1891-1892, one of the college’s football coaches was looking for an indoor sport to keep his players in shape during the winter months, and he developed the initial rules for the sport of basketball which today is played worldwide.

Chinese Brochure Translation Services
Our client requested that we provide English to Chinese translation for admissions and marketing brochures. The translated content included a book on the History of Basketball for which the college proudly takes credit. In order to translate this book, our linguists needed to culturally adapt the original content.
In addition to translating the text from the English version into Chinese, they also needed to properly insert it back into the formatted brochure so that it corresponded with the English text. Our team of linguists and project managers are experienced in providing DTP and formatting along with translation, as it is often needed for marketing and advertising materials in order to account for differences in the size and length of written scripts.
