Language Connections Assists Discussion at Harvard Health Leaders’ Forum
The Ministerial Leadership in Health (MLIH) Program is a joint initiative of the Harvard School of Public Health and the Harvard Kennedy School.
The goal of the program is to improve health care delivery and outcomes around the world through the direct assistance of national health and finance ministers, learning from international experience and increasing insight into the importance of health in national economic development.
The Ministerial Forum for Finance Ministers in April included Ministers from Cape Verde, Kenya, Tanzania, Lesotho, and The Gambia. The Ministerial Health Leaders’ Forum in June hosted eleven (11) ministers from Africa, Asia and Europe, for which they requested our Portuguese and French interpreting services. This type of forum requires interpreters that are highly experienced in the field and very well acquainted with the topic.
