Conference Interpreting Services at China Eastern Airlines Senior Leadership Program
Language Connections will be providing conference interpreting services for Chinese participants attending Columbia University’s two-week long Senior Leadership Program for China Eastern Airlines from March 12-23rd. This executive education program will provide in-depth sessions covering leadership and strategy, functional excellence, and global business issues. At the end of the program, participants will emerge as stronger and more focused leaders, better able to develop and communicate their vision and implement change. Session topics include Leading and Managing Across Cultures, Organizational Politics, Digital Marketing Strategy, and Strategic Thinking, among others.
Prior to the start of the program, Language Connections translated all program materials into Simplified Chinese. Our role at the meeting will be to ensure that all the Chinese participants are able to follow the discussions (via simultaneous interpreters) in their own native language. Our interpreters are carefully selected professionals with experience in simultaneous interpreting that have an extensive understanding of the content which is being discussed. As this program will have a large impact on the future of Chinese Eastern Airlines as a business, clear communication is critical.
