Italian Interpreting for an Ivy League University

Simultaneous Italian Interpreting
This Ivy League university reached out to Language Connections to interpret for a speech by an Italian artist during the school’s commencement weekend. As the audience was overwhelmingly English speaking, the event required simultaneous Italian interpreting. To achieve this goal, Language Connections provided a full booth and headphones for each of the 200-member audience. This wasn’t the full extent of services we provided, though. Since there was a Q & A session after the presentation, Language Connections’ interpreter also needed to provide some simultaneous interpreting after the presentation to allow for fruitful conversation between the audience and artist.
