Boston, November 19, 2015 – Language Connections, a Boston-based translation and interpreting company, is a long-term partner of many academic institutions in the Boston area. We have provided interpreting for Harvard University on many different occasions. This past November, we delivered linguistic services for a conference which took place at the beginning of the month at Harvard Graduate School of Design Center for Green Buildings and Cities. The conference is part of a series hosted by the center on sustainable design. This year’s event, Sustainability in Scandinavia, was focused on green buildings and communities across Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Leading academicians and experts from the region presented several case studies and proven concepts. Language Connections provided Chinese simultaneous interpreters and interpreting equipment during the course of the two-day program. Our interpreters, selected for their expertise in the field, facilitated the event for attending members of the Evergrande Group, China’s second-largest property developer based in southern China’s Guangdong Province. Our linguists have years of experience interpreting at highly technical academic conferences, and our past experience providing interpreting for Harvard enabled our project managers and interpreters to expertly handle this event.
